We’ll start at the meeting point (Dreams Hotel parking lot) with a short briefing and safety instructions. Here, you’ll sign the waiver and receive your bandana and dust goggles – essential gear for the ride ahead!
Together with the guide, we head out in a caravan. Even on the paved road, riding an ATV is already a thrill. But the real excitement begins as we reach the Hato plains: rough terrain with sand, rocks, potholes, and narrow trails through wild vegetation. Here’s where the true off-road experience kicks in!
Our first stop is at the impressive wind turbines. While enjoying the view, the guide will share stories about the Middle Curaçao Formation – a fascinating geological area with millions of years of history.
From there, we continue across the plains to a hidden natural cave – a secret gem that reveals Curaçao’s raw beauty.
Next, we ride along the ‘Weg naar Bullenbaai’, passing the massive white oil tanks – an impressive contrast to the island’s natural scenery. Our journey takes us to Vaersenbaai (Kokomo Beach), where it’s time to cool off with a refreshing swim in the Caribbean Sea. The perfect break to wash away the dust and sand!
On the way back, we’ll pass the flamingo habitat at the salt flats of Sint Michiel. With a bit of luck, you’ll spot these elegant pink birds before we return to the starting point – full of adrenaline and unforgettable memories.

With our guide leading the way, we head out in a sturdy caravan toward East Curaçao. Even on the first stretch of road, you’ll feel the thrill of driving your ATV, but the real adventure begins as soon as we leave the pavement and hit the rugged terrain. Expect sand, rocks, sharp turns, and narrow off-road trails that take you to places regular cars can’t reach.
Our first stop is the Jan Thiel viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the coastline and the bright blue Caribbean Sea, and the perfect moment for a photo at the iconic “I ♥ Curaçao” bench!
Next, we continue to the mysterious Cave of Doom, a natural cave shaped by the sea after centuries of erosion it collapsed leaving a natural bridge instead. This hidden gem lies tucked between rock formations, an impressive spot where you can truly feel the power of nature.
We then follow the route past the towering wind turbines of East Curaçao, rising dramatically above the landscape. An impressive sight and a striking contrast with the rugged wilderness around you.
Our final stop is Playa Kanoa, a wild beach on the north coast where the waves crash spectacularly against the rocks. It’s the perfect place to cool off, shake off the dust, and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. After a short break, we head back in caravan formation to the starting point, with adrenaline in your veins and a big smile on your face.

Frequently Asked Questions About the ATV Tour
Drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Driving experience is required, and you must carry your license with you during the tour.
Children can join as passengers, provided they are at least 1.20 meters tall. For safety reasons, young children are not allowed to drive. Babies and children under 1.20 meters are not permitted.
The ATVs have no roof, so you’ll be exposed to the sun at all times. We strongly recommend applying sunscreen, wearing sun-protective clothing, and bringing a cap or hat. Don’t forget your sunglasses!
We recommend leaving valuables at the hotel. Small items can be taken along, but keep in mind that ATVs are open, so you’ll need to store them securely.
During the tour, water, soft drinks, and a granola bar are included. Snacks or additional drinks are at your own expense.
The tour runs in the rain. In case of extreme weather, we will contact you to reschedule or refund. Most ATVs have no roof, so be prepared to get wet.
