At BlueFinn you can choose between two unique catamaran options for this trip:
Whichever option you choose, you’ll enjoy a full day of sun, sea, snorkeling, and a delicious BBQ lunch with an open bar on board.
We depart in the morning from Mood Beach (Mambo Blvd). Once we reach open water, the sails are hoisted (if the wind allows) and we head west.
Our main destination is Cas Abao Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Here you can swim, sunbathe, and snorkel with the included equipment. For divers, this is the perfect place to explore the colorful reef.
Around midday, the crew prepares a tasty BBQ lunch, after which the premium open bar opens. On the way back we make one more snorkel stop at a hidden cove near Kokomo Beach. This peaceful spot, only accessible by boat, feels like a private beach.
We return to Mood Beach around 5:30 PM.
For a more intimate experience, choose TopCat, with a maximum of 35 guests. We depart from Piscadera Bay and head west.
Our first stop is the secluded bay of San Juan – a place only accessible by boat. Here you can snorkel in complete tranquility among colorful fish, corals, and maybe even a sea turtle.
We then continue to Cas Abao Beach for a longer stop to relax and snorkel. Around midday, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, while the open bar is ready for you.
On the way back, we also stop at the hidden cove near Kokomo Beach for one last swim or snorkel session. In the late afternoon, we return to Piscadera Bay.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Best of West Beaches Trip
Yes! Children are welcome. Parents should keep in mind this is a full-day boat trip (approx. 8 hours) with swimming and snorkeling stops. Children must always be supervised by their parents/guardians. Babies can join, but there are no baby facilities on board.
No experience needed. The trip is suitable for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. Snorkel gear is included, and our crew will gladly assist you with tips.
The Best of West Beaches Trip on Catamaran BlueFinn departs Sundays from Mood Beach at 8:30 AM. Mood Beach is about 20–30 minutes from the cruise terminal. Unfortunately, cruise ships do not arrive early enough to make the 8:15 AM check-in time. If you’re visiting Curaçao on a cruise, this trip is not suitable due to scheduling.
The trip sails westward with the current, which usually reduces seasickness. If you are prone, we recommend:
• Eat a light meal about an hour before departure
• Avoid alcohol and caffeine
• Stay hydrated
• Get fresh air by moving to the netting or sitting on the hull
• Look at the horizon to stabilize your senses
If you do get seasick, our experienced and caring crew will assist you and help you feel as comfortable as possible.
