What to expect?

Your adventure begins with a clear safety briefing and instructions, so you feel fully at ease on the Jet Ski. As soon as we head out, you’ll notice how quickly the mix of warm water, fresh air, and power under your fingertips turns into pure fun.

If you want all the excitement of Jet Skiing but prefer smoother, more protected waters, the Spanish Water route is the ideal choice. This tour takes place entirely inside one of Curaçao’s most beautiful and diverse lagoons, where the scenery ranges from mangrove forests to luxury waterfront villas and tiny private islands tucked between the channels.

Because the water here is calm and sheltered, the ride feels safe and comfortable, perfect for beginners or for anyone who wants a controlled yet still energetic experience. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to pick up speed across open stretches, and just as many moments where you can slow down and take in the surroundings.

As we navigate deeper into the bay, the route leads you through a mix of open water and narrow mangrove-lined passages, giving you a close-up look at this unique ecosystem. Midway through the tour, we make a brief stop at the Santa Barbara Pier, where you can jump in for a refreshing swim or simply enjoy the peaceful view before continuing your ride.

If you’re craving a bit more power and open-sea freedom, the Piscadera Bay route delivers exactly that. This tour starts and ends at Pirate Bay, a relaxed beachfront spot with easy access, facilities, and the perfect laid-back vibe to round off your adventure once you return.

From the moment you leave the bay, the water opens up, and the ride becomes more dynamic. We head along Curaçao’s west coast, passing well-known locations such as Piscadera Bay, Blue Bay Beach, and continuing all the way toward Boca Sami. Out here, the waves give the Jet Ski more movement and the scenery becomes wider, wilder, and more dramatic, ideal if you enjoy that extra burst of adrenaline.

On the way back, the tone shifts as we leave the open ocean behind and slip into the calm inner waters of Piscadera Bay. Here, you get the chance to slow down and explore one of Curaçao’s quieter natural areas: a peaceful mangrove zone tucked away behind the coastline. This hidden stretch of nature forms a beautiful contrast with the high-energy ride earlier in the tour.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Jet Ski Adventures

Do I need any experience to join the tour?

No experience is required. Your guide will give you clear instructions before departure, and the Jet Skis are easy to control. Both locations are suitable for beginners.
How old do I need to be to drive a Jet Ski?

Drivers must be at least 16 years old. A 16-year-old may ride alone or carry an adult (18+) as a passenger, but two teens/children may not ride together.
Can children join as passengers?

Passengers must be at least 130 cm (4’3”) or taller. Babies and small children are not allowed for safety reasons.
Is there a weight limit?

Yes. Each Jet Ski can carry a maximum combined weight of 160 kg (350 lbs). This limit comes from the technical capacity of the Jet Ski model.
How fast do we go during the tour?

You control your own speed within the safe limits set by the guide. There are moments where you can accelerate and have fun, and moments where we slow down for sightseeing or safety.
Which location is better for me?

Choose Spanish Water if you prefer calm waters, scenic mangroves, and a smoother ride. Choose Piscadera Bay if you enjoy a bit more adrenaline, open ocean, and coastal views. Both tours are exciting but offer different vibes.
Is there a place to store belongings?

We recommend leaving valuables at your accommodation. Small waterproof items may fit in limited onboard storage, but space is minimal. At the tour desk we have storage for larger items, at your own risk.
How long is the tour?

The full adventure typically lasts around 45 minutes, plus 15 minutes instructions and riding time. A total of 60 minutes. This may vary slightly depending on conditions.
Do we ride in a group?

Yes, the tour is guided and operated in small groups for safety. You still have freedom to ride at your own pace within the guide’s safe distance.
