I started as a crew member and, soon enough, the opportunity to enroll in the captain class came my way. Fast forward to today, and I've proudly donned the captain's cap! If I’m not playing soccer, my favorite place to be is on the Kailani, where I specialize in private trips with small groups. The ocean has become my second home, and every moment spent navigating it is pure bliss. What I love most about BlueFinn is the atmosphere – we're not just colleagues; we're a tight-knit family. We take our responsibilities seriously but know how to have a good time and watch out for each other. It's this unique blend that keeps the job truly awesome and has turned us into friends beyond the job.

Bondia, I'm Aïsha, born and raised right here in Curacao. At 22, I've embarked on a unique journey as the first female captain at BlueFinn, and I couldn't be more excited! Sports are my other passion, and you can often find me on the soccer field playing for CVV Inter Willemstad, a semi-professional football club here in Curaçao. But my love for the water runs just as deep. I'm a jet ski enthusiast, and it's how I like to spend my free time, racing across the waves. I also give sailing classes to those eager to obtain their boat license. Sharing my knowledge of the sea is a rewarding experience. So, whether it's on the pitch, the waves, or imparting sailing wisdom, I'm all about embracing life's adventures here in Curacao. Come join me!

Marijn

Hello, I'm Marijn, Captain at BlueFinn Charters. I grew up in and around the waters of Curacao, and I've been sailing since I was three years old. I've spent eight years abroad, mainly in the Netherlands, with about a year dedicated to travel. During that time, I explored various destinations, including Asia, Central, and South America, often accompanied by my surfboard. Throughout my sailing journey, I've had the privilege of participating in nearly all the major regattas in the Caribbean region, such as those in St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Aruba. In fact, in St. Maarten in 2013, I clinched the top spot in my class while racing on a J35 sailboat. For me, sailing is more than just a passion; it's a way of life. And as the Captain, it's my pleasure to share this love for the sea and adventure with you!

Greetings, I'm Nicolev, and I've been a part of BlueFinn Charters since July 2023. I began my journey here as a sailor, with aspirations of becoming a captain. Achieving my captain's license last year was a dream come true, as I've always longed to steer a ship. My maritime career spans a total of 12 years, with previous roles at Curacao Industrial Diving as a machinist and diver. Since my childhood, I've held a deep fascination for the sea. I have fond memories of spending Sundays with my brothers, heading to Fuik by boat. What truly stands out at BlueFinn is the strong bond within the crew. Working with tourists daily hardly feels like work; it's more like sharing memorable experiences. When I'm not on the clock, you'll find me at the gym, tinkering with my sports car, or spending quality time with my family. Life is all about the balance between work and the things we love.

And, if the stars aligned, it had to be with BlueFinn Charters. I'd heard about this company and fell in love with its incredible vibe. When I saw an opening, I jumped at the opportunity, and I haven't looked back since! The heart and soul of BlueFinn captivated me from day one, and I hope to be part of this fantastic crew for a long time to come. Beyond the boat, I'm diving headfirst into the local culture by learning Papiamento and catching some waves with surfing classes. When I'm not on the water, you'll find me on four wheels, skateboarding my way through life.

Hello there! I'm Melanie, and I've been a part of the BlueFinn team in the reservations department since the end of July 2023. I thoroughly enjoy the interactions with people in this role, and I'm always eager to brainstorm and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests. Outside my work at BlueFinn, I run my own business as a photographer and have recently ventured into the world of massage therapy. Creativity is a driving force in my life. I dabble in various creative pursuits, including reading, music, cooking, and baking – not to mention my appreciation for delicious food! In my free time, you'll often find me indulging in these hobbies, but I also cherish the opportunity to be on the boat to Klein Curacao. Hello, everyone! I'm Anouk, though the crew affectionately refers to me as 'het marketing meisje' (the marketing girl). I've been part of the BlueFinn Charters family since the very beginning (2017). My role here encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting with day-to-day tasks to providing support in management and sales. However, my true passion lies in marketing, where I get to tell the world about the incredible experiences we offer.
