Jet Ski Tour Guide

As a Jet Ski Tour Guide at BlueFinn, you’ll take guests out on the water for an experience that should be exciting, fun, and above all, safe. You’ll lead the way, keep an eye on the group, and make sure everyone knows what to do. You take responsibility for your guests, stay alert to what’s happening around you, and make sure everyone returns with a big smile on their face.
What will you do?
During a jet ski tour, you’re the one taking the lead on the water. You give clear instructions, adapt to the conditions and experience level of your guests, and step in when necessary. At the same time, you’re their host: you make people feel comfortable and turn every tour into an experience to remember.

- Take responsibility for the safe operation of each tour
- Provide clear safety and riding instructions before departure
- Ensure guests follow safety procedures and maritime regulations
- Keep a close eye on the entire group throughout the tour
- Take water conditions, surroundings, and guests’ experience levels into account
- Assist and communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions and provide information about the tour and surroundings
- Help inspect and prepare jet skis and equipment before and after each tour
- Identify and report technical issues, damage, or potential safety risks
- Represent BlueFinn in a positive and professional way
- Support promotional and commercial activities when needed
Who are we looking for?
You love action, but you’re not a daredevil. Safety always comes first, and you understand that guests rely on you to know what you’re doing. You’re confident taking the lead, communicate clearly, and remain calm when someone feels unsure or when something unexpected happens.
- You feel at home on and around the water
- You hold a valid commercial boating license or a valid recreational boating license that allows you to start in the role
- If you start with a recreational boating license, you’re willing to obtain the required commercial boating license
- You have knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures
- You’re responsible, alert, and safety-conscious
- You can give clear instructions and feel comfortable leading groups
- You’re welcoming, social, and service-minded
- You easily approach people and enjoy working with guests from different nationalities
- You have a good command of Dutch, English, and Spanish
- You’re physically fit and comfortable working in an active environment
- You can work independently and take initiative when needed
- You’re flexible when it comes to working hours
- You’re available full-time for 45 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays
