Your adventure begins at our meeting point at the Dreams Hotel parking lot, where our team will welcome you for a short briefing and safety introduction. After signing the waiver, you’ll receive your bandana and dust goggles, essential gear for the off-road journey ahead.
Once everyone is ready, we set off in convoy with our experienced guide leading the way. Even on the paved roads, driving an UTV is already an exciting experience, but the real adventure starts as we enter the rugged Hato plains. Get ready to conquer Curaçao’s wild side as you navigate sandy tracks, rocky terrain, winding trails, and uneven paths surrounded by untouched nature. This is where the true off-road experience begins.
Our first stop takes us to the island’s impressive wind turbines, towering above the landscape. Here, your guide will share fascinating insights into the Middle Curaçao Formation, a unique geological area shaped over millions of years. From there, we continue deeper into the countryside to discover a hidden natural cave; a lesser-known treasure that showcases the island’s raw and untamed beauty.
The adventure continues along the road to Bullenbaai, where you’ll pass the iconic white oil tanks, creating a striking contrast against Curaçao’s natural scenery and turquoise coastline.
Next, we arrive at Vaersenbaai, better known as Kokomo Beach, where it’s time for a refreshing break. Take a swim in the crystal-clear Caribbean waters and wash away the dust of the trail while soaking up the island atmosphere.
As we make our way back, we pass the salt flats of Sint Michiel, one of Curaçao’s most important flamingo habitats. Keep your eyes open, you may be lucky enough to spot these graceful pink birds in their natural environment.
